Pressure Safety Valve is widely used on top of storage silos and hoppers, usually together with silo-top dust remover. When there is an abnormal pressure that runs out of the bearing range of the silo structure, pressure safety valve is the last line of safety defense. That is the reason why when there is too much pressure or excessive pumping inside the silo, it must be processed and controlled immediately. Hence, efficient and reliable pressure safety valve is an essential device in the silo system. 

When the pressure is within the preset range, spiral spring keeps valve lid closed. Three external spring rods keep external annular valve lid tightly closed until the pressure inside the silo is less than spring force. When the pressure inside the silo is too high or too low, once beyond the maximum preset range, valve lid will push up to release excessive pressure. Smaller lid from the bottom covers the circular opening in the center of external valve lid. Smaller lid is fixed through single spring rod and make external valve lid pressurized via standard atmosphere inside the silo. When pumping out pressure, compression of spring will bring down the valve lid. Air comes in from the outside of the silo, which ensures quick pressure balance and central valve back to the close position.
