Working principle of Symons cone crusher:

While working, the electric motor, through vee belt, big belt pulley, transmission shaft, bevel pinion, big bevel gear, drives the eccentric sleeve to rotate. The shaft axis of crushing cone, under the forced action of eccentric sleeve, makes swing movement around, and consequently surface of mantle approaches and leaves the surface of bowl liner now and then, so that the material is crushed due to continuous impact, squeezing and bending inside the ring crushing chamber formed by the static cone and dynamic cone. After several times of squeezing, impact and bending, the material will be crushed into required size and discharged through the bottom.
