Description
USDA Cotton Classification Methods used for testing American Upland Cotton including, Fiber length, Length Uniformity, Fiber Strength, Micronaire, Color Grade, Trash, Classer Determination, Leaf Grade, Preparation, and Extraneous Matter. HVI machine employed.
For American Pima Cotton ( Long Staple length Cotton ) similar methods employed and HVI instruments oriented also.
American Upland and Pima Cotton produced in the US Cotton Belt (Southern USA States)
