Description
Resinated Lignite is designed to provide filtration control over a wide range of temperature and in the presence of contaminants. It is a temperature-stable, synthetically formulated resin and lignite complex which has proven to be one of the most effective high-temperature filtration-control additives available.

Resinated Lignite is a broad-application fluid loss control agent that can be used in virtually any water-base mud. In field applications, excellent results have been obtained in freshwater, brackish water, seawater, saltwater, lime, gyp, lignosulfonate, polymer and non-dispersed systems.

Resinated Lignite stabilizes and extends the temperature limitations and contamination-resistance of water-base mud systems to above 400℉(204℃). It is notably effective in high density muds where fluid-loss control can be achieved without increases in viscosity.

Resinated Lignite improves filter cake quality, reduces wall-sticking tendencies, stabilizes rheological properties and contributes to the drilling of in-gauge holes.
