Xiamen Engineering Machinery Co., Ltd (XMEC), developed from the former Xiamen Engineering Machinery Works, is the key enterprise of large scale for producing wheel loaders of the state. The company had been the birthplace of the first loader of China. And now, XMEC is one of the most important enterprises of the National Economy and Trade Committee, authorized to operated import and export business autonomously.

XMEC has received great achievements after years of development and got highly appraisement in the trade. Since 1988, XMEC has been listed among"the 430 largest scale enterprises in China", "the 430 most valuable enterprises in China", and"the backbone of China industry---the 430 state-owned enterprises". In 1995, it ranked 96th among ?°the 430 best comprehensive evaluation enterprises in China?±, listed 19th in the Ministry of Machinery Industry, and listed on the top in the machinery industry system of Fujian Province.

XEMC occupies the area of 360,000 square meters, with 1.3 billion total assets and 852 million net assets. It is capable to produce 10,000 sets of wheel loader with a strong technical force, advanced facilities, and complete testing system. By ISO9001 Quality System Certification, the XEMC products are of high quality, safety and reliability, which enable to operate easily and work efficiently. They are ideal machines for the application of shoveling, piling, loading and unloading, lifting, drawing and carrying in mines, tunnels, capital construction sites, agricultural forest and water conservancy and power construction sites and port docks.

The"Xiagong"brand Wheel Loaders joined the Engineering Corps of the People's Liberation Army of China on its UN peacekeeping mission in Cambodia in 1992 and joined the China Academy of Sciences on its scientific expedition to the South Pole in 1995. These solidly built wheel loaders are highly appraised by the users in a wide variety of sectors for their superior operating performance. The market share and occupation rate ranked the first place in the machinery industry. The products have been exported to the U.S.A, Egypt, Southeast Asia and many other countries and regions, and enjoy high reputation in the customers.
