Description
GW16/17 series semi-pantograph disconnectors were put into operation in 1986. GW16 series disconnector is designed in vertical operation and GW17 series disconnectors in horizontal operation.


Main features
1.Advanced design
The main contact is designed in folded arm mode with a mechanical hand. Additionally, the system of push and release is applied. All the design leads to reliable closing and opening operation.
Arc horn is designed at moving contact. Ring current switching function is enhanced.
The earthing contact equipped is in advanced design with low operation force requirement. Its peak and short-time current withstand rating is the same as that of the main contact.
The adjusting assembly is arranged at the bottom of moving contact, convenient for adjustment and maintenance.

2. Strong anti-pollution and anti-rust capability
The components of the contact system (clip spring, reset spring, push rod, gear and rack) arearanged inside the conducting pipe and the pedestal of moving contact with good sealing solution.
The cabinet of motor operation device is made of stainless steel and all the drive parts are enclosed in an Al-casted box.
Hand operation device, CSC is in all-sealing design which could prevent the penetration of rain or moisture.

3.High current carrying performance
Copper with silver coating and anti-rust aluminum alloy are applied for current carrying section. More important, current contact surfaces are all made of copper material coated with silver. Such design ensures good current carrying performance and guarantees a long-term service.
The components are silver coated in a silver coating line with technology introduced from Toshiba Corporation, Japan. The adhesiveness of the coat is increased greatly.

4.Long mechanical endurance and long service experience
Motor operation device, CJ11 is applied. The device enjoys low noise, reliable service, high efficiency, no inertial impact and many other features.
