At MiraFlex we specialise in Orthopaedic vacuum packed memory foam rolled mattresses/quilts and Electric Adjustable Beds with massagers. The Visco elastic material was originally developed in the 1970s at NASA Ames Research Centre in order to improve the seating comfort and absorb G-forces in spacecraft. Buy Now






Visco Elastic Memory Foam, a relatively new material in the bedding industry, is a material now being increasingly used in mattress construction.

The premium quality, high density foam has magnificent capabilities of absorbing energy and is extremely temperature sensitive.

These two features combined create excellent pressure relieving features.

The material forms itself to the shape of any object/pressure applied, returning to its original shape when the object/pressure is removed - see image of hand pressed into memory foam (right).

Dust mites are one of the most common causes of allergies within the house.

Due to the structure of the Visco Elastic Memory Foam it becomes impossible for dust mites to penetrate the mattress.

This creates a cleaner and healthier environment ultimately providing the setting for a truly comfortable, therapeutic sleep.








Our mattresses have an extra-deep 5 pressure absorbing centimetres of Visco elastic memory foam with the density being 60kg and 15cm of Reflex foam altogether being 20cm thick. All our mattresses come with a removable zip cover which can be washed or dry cleaned.
