Description
We are a Fish Liver Oil Manufacturing Plant of Omega-3 "LABORATORIOS VICAMI SA."
At the present time LABORATORIOS VICAMI SA, is located in the shoreline of Mar del Plata, Argentina.
Differences with other fish oils and quality advantages
Raw material, Fresh Livers of selected marine species, coming from our seas of the south are used without deterioration of the polyunsaturated fatty acids of the series Omega 3.
- Our product offers EPA concentration of 9 to 13 % and about 20% of DHA as natural triglycerides that we obtain through a total natural manufacturing process are unique arround the world, since they are not ethyl esters of fatty acids, and we do not submit our oil to any treatment, such as molecular distillation. In addition, due to the natural processing method applied, the natural vitamin content is unaltered, and in the same concentration found in the fish liver. This process at low temperature and under inert atmosphere of nitrogen allows us to obtain a CIS configuration of the constituent fatty acids that makes our product perfect for the human body absorption.
Because of our great ocean conditions and very low pollution levels, fish are able to consume plankton free of toxic substances, rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids Omega-3 .
The concentration of Heavy Metals, Total Dioxins, Furans, PCBs, DDT and Metabolites in our oil, is below the international standards. The only additive that we use "for preservation of the polyunsaturated fatty acids and the natural vitamin E", is natural Coenzyme Q10 with the highest quality.

Health benefits
The Omega 3 (specially the EPA), have protective effects for the heart and they are also essential in the prevention of many autoimmune and inflammatory diseases (Arthritis, asthma, inflammatory disease of the intestine, lupus systemic eritematoso, psoriasis, etc.)
The DHA, Acid decosahexaenoico is another polyunsaturated faty acid essential for our organism. The brain especially is rich in DHA, where it increases the fluency of the membrane, promotes the growth and development of the nervous system in newborn children and supports functions as the learning, memory and cognitive development.
Deficiency in docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), is associated with cognitive decline. Epidemiological studies carried out by Greg M. Cole , (Departments of Medicine and Neurology, University of California Los Angeles), suggest that increased intake of DHA is associated with reduced risk of Alzheimer’s disease.
