Description
Leader Red is a pigment contains 100 g of canthaxanthin per kg. Canthaxanthin is stabilized in a matrix of carbohydrates and gelatin as a dry powder. It is used in animal nutrition in combination with yellow xanthophylls to enhance the yellow-orange colour of egg yolk and broiler skin. It’s also used together with pink (astaxanthin) to color fish flesh.

Advantages

Applications
It’s used as a pigment for poultry to enhance the egg yolk color and broiler skin pigmentation. The product is formulated, and can be added to different feeds directly. It can also be used to enhance the flesh color of salmonids and other aquatic species.
Recommended Usage: 25-300g in per ton feed

Packaging
5kg / aluminum foil bag with vacuum packing inside and paper carton outer, 4 bags / carton.

Storage & Shelf Life
Leader Red shows good stability at room temperature. However, Canthaxanthin is sensitive to oxygen, light, hot and moisture. The product should be stored in a cool and dry place in the original well-closed package. The unopened bags have a shelf life of at least 24 months if stored under the conditions specified.
