Description
Description: Mica is a group of aluminum silicate minerals with layer-structure, and rich in elements of potassium(K), aluminum(Al), magnesium and lithium etc. Dolomite (White Mica) is one of the similar sub-categories in mica group. It is transparent with no color or light color, and possesses the glass’s shine. Its Mohs hardness is about 2-2.5, specific density is 2.7-3.5. Dolomite possesses lots of excellent properties, for example electric insulating, high temperature proof, acid and alkali resist, and corrosion proof ect.

Applications:

Mica powder can be used as prior filler in paint and coating.

Mica powder can be applied in protecting layer of welding rods, conducting wires and electric cables.

Mica powder is also the basic raw material for mica porcelain products.

It can be used as suspended substance in fire-fighting dry powder.

It can be taken as filler, shelter, lubricating substance, a drawing of patterns in plastics, rubber, asbestos products and sealing materials.

It can also be used as filler in degreasing agent of cosmetics, in insulating materials of high-frequent electric waves and acid-durable products.

It can be used as coating in models of forecasting metal, the brightening material in aluminum and paint in electroplating.
