Doctor fish also is named Garra Rufa Fish, nibble fish and kangal fish. Garra rufa fish has more than 400 years history of curing skin-diseases like Psoriasis in Turkey, the garra rufa fish feed on the skin of patients with psoriasis and the fish are like combfishes in that they only consume the affected and dead areas of the skin, leaving the healthy skin to grow.
