History.
The Shop was set up in 1970 as a retail based family business, selling designer ceramics, home furnishings, glass and cutlery from India & leading designers and potters. Tapping vast treasures of prints and adapting them to western tastes The Shop had as clients almost all the important department stores around the world: Habitat and The Conran Shop in England, Galleries Lafayette and Au Printemps in France, Coin in Italy, Magazin du Nord in Denmark, El Corte Engles in Spain, Magazijn De Bijenkorf in Holland, Stockmann in Finland, Bloomingdales in the U.S.

Product range.
The Shop manufactures and sells mainly Home Furnishing textiles. Products include a coordinated range of tablemats, napkins, tablecloths, bedcovers, duvets, cushions, quilts and curtain panels. These are all dyed and printed in our premises with a focus on maintaining the highest quality standards. Clothing, mainly quilted and embroidered jackets as well as an eclectic range of nightwear, is a small but essential part of the range. We have now expanded this to include coordinating bags and scarves as well.

Collections:
We produce two ranges for export every year in October for the Spring/Summer season and in April for the Fall/Winter collection. Most of our smaller customers buy directly form the large selection on offer in these collections. In the last few years, we have also diversified into private label manufacture for some clients, who provide their own design inputs to us.

USP:

We carry our own printing, embroidery, stitching, washing and final packing of the shipment, all under one roof.
