INTRODUCING KCO HYGIENE SERVICES

In the present global quest for companies and multi nationals to outsource non-core services to external contractors, we have identified a niche! There is an acute demand for hygiene services from all spheres of our industrial life. Thus KCO hygiene services were conceived to fill this void with world class customer-focused services.

PREAMBLE.

According to a popular maxim: "cleanliness is next to Godliness".

KCO hygiene services was conceived to ensure that our clients operate in a very hygienic environment that is devoid of any hazard. The provision of hygiene services has evolved over the last couple of years. This is now an increasing demand to combine men and machine in order to deliver exceptional services. At KCO, we import our own range of personalised cleaning equipment and ensure that these comply with SABS. Our cleaning chemicals and disposables are locally purchased.

Our strength is in the caliber of the people we employ. Each team has a tam leader that is empowered to deal with issues ranging from recruitment to remuneration, thus creating an empowered workplace. The adoption of a project management approach ensures that each client is serviced holistically.

WHO ARE WE?

The company came into being in the year 2000 and we have since spread our tentacles into other parts of Africa.

We currently have offices and clients in Botswana, Lesotho, Swaziland, Nigeria, the Gambia and Ghana. With a combined continental workforce of 3000 people we are poised to become a household name in the cleaning and hygiene industry.

2. To set out policies that will govern our interaction with all levels of staff. These policies will enable us reward commitment from staff with appropriate incentives.
3. To map out a recruitment strategy that will ensure that our work place is truly representative of the society where we render services.
4. To encourage the use of environmental friendly material at all times.
5. To augment our people's efforts with adequate technology.

At the first contact with our clients, we conduct a site survey and an environmental impact assessment which culminate in rendering the following services:

1. Domestic and industrial cleaning.
2. Environmental sanitation.
3. Gardening
4. Landscaping.
5. Collection and disposal of refuse.
6. Pest Control.

OUR PEOPLE.

The bedrock of any organisation is its people. The following people are the wheels on which our company revolves:

1. Dr. King Obilor is the founder of the company and he comes to the party with numerous years of experience in medicine and general business. He currently heads other companies such as Donald multi concept (Nig) Ltd and Donald multi concept limited in the Gambia.
2. Dr. Nonkululeko N Dyasi is the Managing Director of the company and she also comes with years of service in medicine. An astute trade uninionist, she is committed to the empowerment of women and the underprivileged. She is involved in this crusade in the auspices of the Black doctors' Association.
3. Ms. Makini Mphahlele is our Director of client services. She holds a post graduate diploma in Logistics management from RAU. She also currently runs her own consulting outfit that specializes in logistics and management intervention services. Prior to venturing into business, she worked for the United States embassy, Pretoria, in various capacities.
