Based in Shanghai, China, Healthcare Brands Ltd was incorporated as a Hong Kong company in July of 2004 to provide a complete sourcing, product development and quality control service to foreign companies who wish to buy products from China to western quality standards.

The company specialises in healthcare, personal care and medical products.

The company's part founderand Managing Director, Mr. Alistair Burns, is a Bristish national who previously worked for a London based company which specialises in oral healthcare products. For the four years prior to starting Healthcare Brands Ltd he was employed as a factory manager of the company's joint venture plant in Guangdong Province, where he managed the product development, lean manufacturing, and GMP standards on behalf of blue chip customers from Europe, USA, Japan and Australia. The most challenging of these was the development of 45 new dental floss product lines for a major US international brand, from initial concept, through to finished product sign off by the client.

This shared education is now a key part of the service offered by Healthcare Brands Ltd and is the fundamental basis of the company's successes so far.
