New World Grain (NWG) is a joint venture company operating in Ukraine with strong financial backing, owned by integrated Australian agribusiness, ABB Grain, and French agro-industrial group, ***** World Grain is accumulating grain from farmers and local trading companies, managing supply chain activities and marketing grain domestically up to the point of export within the Ukrainian grain ***** new company's General Manager, Jean-Marc Philouze, says New World Grain combines Soufflet's significant experience in Ukraine (it's traded since 1999 as Soufflet Ukraine) and ABB's considerable expertise in logistics, infrastructure development and international grain marketing.

"The company is equally owned by ABB Grain and Soufflet Negoce and has two operating subsidiaries, a grain marketing company and a storage and handling (infrastructure) company, " Monsieur Philouze says.
"We will operate a mix of purchased silos and rented space; grain will be transported to ports for 'free-on-board' sale to buyers."
Monsieur Philouze said New World Grain's partnership combining a strong European-based grain marketer and the high profile Australian ***** World Grain's head office is located in Kiev. Trusted buying representatives and local partners are spread across the main grain producing regions of central and southern ***** World Grain has exclusive access to a major modern bulk grain shipping port capable of loading panamax size vessels (with barge top-up) in the Nikolaev region. At certain times of the year, third parties can acquire ship loading (fobbing) services at this port by application to New World Grain. Rates may vary according to factors such as availability, volume, grain type, size and notice of shipment. The port is capable of receiving grain intake efficiently either by road, rail and / or barge. Logistics Execution services offered by New World Grain may further complement any Export Loading services contracted by third parties.
