Snack Zone Vending Services LLC, established in the year 1993 in the name of Gulf Automatic Vending. The change of company name has been made in order to take the company in to the new century and to compliment our future plans as the number one independent vending organization in the ***** As the ***** distributor for several international machine manufacturers, the main objective of the partners was to introduce and supply automatic coin operated vending machines in to the local market.

From a very modest beginning, with only four machines with the Dubai Municipality, the company has grown and now has some 700 machines placed in various strategic locations all over the country. About 60% of the machines provide snacks and cold beverages whilst 40% supply hot beverages such as coffee and tea.

As the company has matured over the past 16 years, it has been able to harness its experience to ensure that machines are now being better utilized (resulting in greater unit profitability) and improved cost effectiveness over the products being sold. At the same time, a professional workforce and an improved knowledge of this specialized market have given Snack Zone Vending an enviable position in the local arena.

Its modus operandi is to place machines in locations that are leased from property owners. Income is generated directly for the sale of products dispensed by the machines. As a general rule, commission is not usually paid so that the only expenses incurred would be the cost of goods sold plus the overheads incurred in running the business.

The advantage to the property owner is that there is a 24 â?? hour continuous unattended operation that provides convenience to the tenants and the general public. Furthermore it may reduce manpower costs, which will be a benefit for the property owner and will reduce the non-skilled expatriate labour force â?? a force that can be seen to be adding little to the local economy.
