About Trade between China and India
According to the information released by the Ministry of Commerce the volume of trade between China and India has been increasing rapidly in recent years. During period 2001 � 2007 China exports to India increased by 49 % annually, that higher than exportation increase rate of China by 24% over the same period. The import of China from India has an annual increase by 43% in average, that higher than that of overall import increase rate by 19% over the same period. In 2007, China-India trade volume exceeded 38.7 billion US Dollars, or in other words their net trade volume increased by 56%. Now India for first time becomes China's 10th largest trading partner. In the first half of 2008 the trade volume between China and India reached 29 billion US Dollars, with an increase by 69%, thus India ranked eighth among ten largest trading partners for China. The increase rate ranked first among China�s ten trading partners. However, due to the small base of the present trade volume, therefore it is estimated that China and India trade will keep a rapid growth.
