Century Pharma, with more than 25 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical industry, has shown continuous growth. After constructing a strong platform for manufacturing API Drugs, the company started expanding into new markets. In 1997, a new division started when Century introduced Veterinary products to its existing product line. In January 2007, a new US FDA approvable active ingredient manufacturing plant was set up. The company plans to introduce new products and undertake R & D in its new state of art facility. Products going off patent as well as finding non-infringing routes will be its new focus.

With a view to find medication without any side effects, Century Pharma has started development work on targeted therapeutic apoptopic proteins for treatment of asthma and allergies. A joint venture with Target In, an Israeli Biotech research company, will facilitate the research.
