In 1962, The First industrial license to manufacture spring mattresses was awarded to Sh. Abbas Abduljawad, the owner of Arabian Spring Mattresses Industry (Sleep High).

In 1983 and 1984 Sleep High received The VI Trophy Furniture Europe, France, in recognition of the quality mattresses, also The V International Trophy for Technology in W. Germany which gave SLEEP HIGH the momentum to establish factories in both Riyadh and Dammam, in addition to the one in Jeddah.
Sh. Abbas Abduljawad introduced a variety of sleeping products which include brands like SLEEP HIGH, SLEEP LUX and SLEEP REST. These brands were registered world wide to reserve the brands rights.
