I have been making Jewelry from my home for over ten years. I have been selling it to the public since about 2003 and have up-graded to a higher quality jewery within the past year. I have found that my customers like my designs and don't mind paying for the higher priced pieces because I use quality semi-precious stones, sterling silver and Swarovski Crystals rather than "look-alikes". I keep my prices competative by shopping where I know I get the best prices. It also helps that I work one day a week at the only Bead Store in town and get an employee discount. The Bead Cage, in Columbus, GA has been very helpful helping me find the materials I need as well as providing classes to help me brush up on my techniques for a more "polished" look in my jewelry.
