SYSCOM sells 95% through dealers, which are spread over the whole country, and located almost anywhere. They are almost 800, most of them buy at least once a week. Merchandise is shipped 96% using overnight freight from anyone of its warehouses (five of them into the country). SYSCOM prints its own catalogs, four times a year and they are spread over almost everybody in the two way radio industry in Latin America, including communications managers in business government, industry and public safety entities. SYSCOM also prints a Security and Alarm Catalog 4 times a year dedicated to the security industry. Also prints thousands of instructions and technical manuals. SYSCOM trains all of its dealers. They have a very intensive training program that starts on February and ends on November without breaks. Training courses are weekly 50% in Chihuahua and the rest in the most important cities of Mexico. SYSCOM sales averages 60 million dollar per year, from an inventory of about 17 million dollars. SYSCOM is a 100% Mexican owned corporation. Located in Chihuahua, Mexico, a one million people city in the northwest of Mexico SYSCOM employs 345 people including its 5 branches located in Mexico City, Juarez, Los Mochis, Guadalajara and Monterrey.
EPCOM is a US corporation 100% owned by SYSCOM. It has been incorporated from 1987, but has been in business in El Paso, Texas area from 1983. Its main market is Latin America, and has warehouses in Miami and San Diego, in order to deliver immediately worldwide. EPCOM also sales into the US market. EPCOM is centrally located on one of El Paso's most heavily travel street; it occupies 30,000 SQ. FT of a new office/warehouse complex. EPCOM has 47 employees and experience very little turnover.Both of the affiliated business are regarded in Latin America as the most important suppliers in the market, knowing they will always be treated with honest dependable service
