GL Biochem (Shanghai) Ltd. (GLS) is dedicated to the research, development, manufacture and marketing of diverse biochemicals and fine chemicals, especially peptide, peptide reagents and related products.
With the well trained technical staff and full access to state-of-the-art facilities, such as 300 MHz NMR, LC-MS, IR, Chiral & RP HPLC, High Pressure Hydrogenator and Peptide Synthesizer, GLS possesses the powerful research and development capability for new products, and assurance of product quality.

GL Biochem has a state-of-the art 17,000 xxxxx size manufacturing facility for the production of peptide reagents and peptide. The facility has various kinds of reactors with an annual capacity of 50MT for peptide reagents and 20Kg for peptides. Moreover, we have also equipped our plant with a lot of sophisticated equipment which include more than 60 units of preparative HPLC system and analytical HPLC system.

At the moment, the company has total of 250 plus chemists directly involved in peptide synthesis, with additional 60 plus technicians in HPLC purification. In addition to having well established, manual synthesis techniques, GL Biochem also invests in units of Automated Multiple Peptide Synthesizers to support customers in peptidomimetics studies and drug discovery for milligram scale of a large number of related peptides and peptidomimetics.

The company probably possesses the biggest capacity with state-of-the art facilities in custom peptides in the world.
