Dandong Chemical Engineering Institute-DCEI was founded in 1966 and was converted into Limited Liability Company in 2001 to enable increased funding and faster development. It took its root in Dandong where the richest borax mine in China was found in 1956. From then on DCEI started its first step in the way of Boron Industry.

Initially DCEI mainly focused on technology research of primary boride such as borax and boric acid. Little by little DCEI set its foot in more and more borides. Till 1989 DCEI started first trial production of hexagonal boron nitride. Since then DCEI continuously supplies boron nitride of best quality to Asia markets.

Today, DCEI is acknowledged as the Chinese leader supplier in amorphous boron, boron nitride, titanium diboride and zirconium diboride. In DCEI 37% employees are engineers. Every year DCEI devoted 20% sales revenue into research to keep continuable development. Based on strict quality control, we also passed the ISO 9001:2000 authentication. DCEI believes that strict art control would prove coincident quality.

In the future DCEI will devote all itself into developing of more and more boride with better quality and better price.
