Overview

Neotype Optic Transmission Multiservice Access Equipment (hereinafter referred to as Neotype Access Equipment in short), centered on SDH technology, provides unified access, syntaxis, transmission, and management functions for TDM service and broadband IP service, as an optical transmission platform with integrated access oriented to traditional telecommunications services and broardband data service application. It is compatible with all PDH services, applicable to edge networks, various private networks, and key clients of China Telcom, etc. for confluent access of multiple services.

Feature:

Neotype Optic Transmission Multiservice Access Equipment, as a whole, has following features:

Provides standard STM-1 optical interface, supports Automatic Laser Shutdown (ALS) function, and complies with G.664 standards;
Provides #1-01 and #1-02 two optical interface boards; #2, #3, #4, and # 5 4 service interface boards; and supports hot pluggable;
Available with 4×E1, 10/100Base-T(VC-12 or VC-3 boardband),and 2×V.35 interface, able for mixed insertion of sub-cards for services of different kinds, and provides access for different services;
Purveys order wire interface (in two-line mode), to achieve point-to-point calls;
Available with two programmable rack-top alarm output interfaces in relay mode and two input interfaces for switching value;
Proffers random add-drop of channels at VC-12 level, for random configuration of service timeslots;
E1 signals are provided with function of re-timing and bypass adjustment with pointer;
Supports share or point-to-point application of Ethernet ports;
Compatible with all PDH services;
Has good synchronous performance, able for being synchronized with line or bypass clock source, or serving as internal high-precision oscillation source. Two line clock sources in optical direction and four first-channel clock sources of bypass can all be entered as clock references.
Diversified topological structure: Supports point-to-point, chain typed and ring-typed (center unit (CU) supporting multiple rings and multiple chains, flexible service deployment in rings and chains), and other multiple networking modes;
Supports internal loopback, external looplack, loopback enabling, and loopback disabling for equipment port, and other control modes;
Provides standard SNMP unified network management system;
Facilitates management and supports disengagement from network management, able for inquiring and setting each node and each card for entire network through panel operation;
Strong and flexible query and configuration mode: a. Panel; b. RS232 HyperTerminal (standard TL1 command lines); c. RS485 network management software; and d. SNMP agent module to be displayed through window of PC network management software;
Power supply 1+1 redundancy backup: With DC-48V/AC220V/DC-48V+AC220V (DPS); and supports power failure alarm.
