Description

Molecular Formula: HO[CH2CH2CH2CH2O]nH
Product Performance: White waxy solid which will become transparent liquid when the temperature is higher than room temperature. It will dissolve in alcohols, ethers, ketones, aromatic hydrocarbons and chlorinated hydrocarbons, but won't dissolve in water and fatty hydrocarbons. And the solubility drops as the temperature goes high. It has the hydroscopic property at room temperature, depending on its molecular weight, and the maximum amount is up to 2%.
Product Uses: It's the most important material for producing polyurethane (polyurethane fibers, polyurethane elastomers, synthetic leather, paint additives, adhesives and elastomeric sealant), polyester and polyamide.
