Description
Evening Primrose Oil is a pure oil produced by cold press, refining and filtration from the seed of Oenothera biennis L., no antioxidant is added. It is a bright yellow oil with characteristic taste and odor. It is one of the richest source of Gamma Linolenic Acid (GLA), and GMO-free.

Physical & Chemical Property:
Acid Value 2.0 mg KOH/g Max.
Peroxide Value 10.0 meq/kg Max.
Moisture and Volatiles 0.5% Max.
Color (133.4 mm Lovibond) NMT R5.0/Y50
Heavy Metals (As Pb) 10 ppm Max.
Fatty Acid Composition:
C16:0 Palmitic 5-7%
C18:0 Stearic 1-3%
C18:1 Oleic 6-10%
C18:2 Linoleic 68-76%
C18:3 γ-Linolenic 9.0% Min.
Others 0-2%

Packaging & Storage
The oil is packed in 190kgs net HDPE drum, purged with nitrogen. It should be stored in cool and drying place, protect from light. Shelf Life is 24 months in original package.
