Description
Albumin Prepared from Human Plasma
Main Ingredients: Albumin Prepared from Human Plasma
[Properties] Slightly viscous, yellow or green to brown clear liquid.
[Pharmacological Effects]
1. Increase blood volume and maintain plasma colloid osmotic pressure: albumin accounts for 80% of colloid osmotic pressure, mainly adjusting dynamic balance of water between tissue and vein. Since albumin has higher molecular weight, compared with salt and water, it passes through the membrane more slowly, making colloid osmotic pressure of albumin counterbalancing against capillary to maintain normal and regular blood volume; meanwhile, in blood circulation, 1g albumin may retain 18ml of water, every 5g albumin is as capable as 100ml plasma or 200ml blood to retain circulating water, so as to increase circulating blood volume and maintain plasma colloid osmotic pressure.
2. Transport and detoxification: albumin can combine with anion and cation, convey different substances, and transport toxic substances to detoxification organ.
3. Nutritional supply: tissue protein and plasma protein can transform into each other; when nitrogen metabolism disorders, albumin can provide nutrition for tissues as a source of nitrogen.
[Indications]
1. Shock caused by hemorrhagic trauma or burns.
2. Increased intracranial pressure caused by brain edema or injury.
3. Edema or ascites caused by liver cirrhosis or kidney disease.
4. Hypoproteinemia control.
5. Neonate hyperbilirubinemia.
6. Used in cardiopulmonary bypass, adjuvant treatment of burns, adjuvant treatment of hemodialysis and adult respiratory distress syndrome.
[Usage & Dosage ]
Usage: Generally adopt intravenous infusion or intravenous injection. To prevent dehydration of issues during a large proportion of injection, 5% glucose injection fluid or appropriate diluted sodium chloride injection for intravenous infusion can be adopted.
