Description
We sell PRILLEX Explosive, it's a powder form explosive (or dry blasting agent) which is composed of Ammonium Nitrate and Fuel Oil (ANFO). It is a blasting agent and therefore not cap-sensitive. For reliable initiation a primer cartridge of a high explosive must be used to reinforce the detonator. The velocity of detonation (VOD) depends on the blast hole diameter and reaches its highest velocity of 4.400 m/sec. in a 250 mm blast hole. The velocity of detonation decreases with the decrease in diameter of the blast hole. When the blast hole diameter is less than 30 mm the detonation will not be stable.
