Flexural modulus of elasticity virtually the same as dentine for reduced tooth stress.

Significantly greater flexural strength than stainless steel, titanium and zirconia.
Complete integration with bonding adhesives and core build-up materials.
Cannot break down due to corrosion like metal posts.
Removable in minutes without damage to tooth structure.
Familiar technique, but less depth required.
Radio-apparent.
