Description
Laminated glass is made by laminating quality PVB film between two or more pieces of glass under given temperature and pressure. The product results a better performance in shock and when the glass is broken, the glass pieces will stick on PVB film. Besides, the PVB film can reflect 98% of the UV light of the sun, which will make the room less warm. It is commonly used in the skylight and cladding in the buildings.
Features:
1) Extremely high safety. The PVB interlayer withstands penetration by impact. Even if the glass cracks, Splinters will stick to the interlayer and not scatter. In comparison with other kinds of glass laminated glass had much higher strength of resists shock, burglary, burst and bullets.
2) The interlayer impedes the transmission of solar heat and reduces air-conditioning cost
3) The interlayer is an effective absorber of sound
4) The interlayer filter out ultra-violet rays and prevents the colors of furniture and curtains from fading architecture automotive windshield bullet, burst-proof purpose furniture. Laminated glass is formed as a sandwich of 2 sheets of glass bonded to a tough and thermoplastic polyvinyl butyral interlayer.
