Ferrolabs, Inc.

FerroLabs, Inc. was founded in ***4 by a team of highly skilled scientists and engineers, working for the Polus engineering office in Ivanovo for over *0 years. These are people who first started the research of ferrofluid technology and development of ferrofluid and ferrofluid-based seals in Russia. In ***5 the new FerroLabs, Inc. division was opened in Berdsk (Novosibirsk region) with its own production line, opportunity of precise mechanics products development, electronics equipment and software manufacturing and quick prototyping services. The core of the team consists of highly skilled professionals: scientists and engineers who have worked on research and development of ferrofluids and ferrofluid-based seals for over *0 years. The Russian government appreciated their work and awarded them for research, developing, and launching manufacture of magnetically-operated nanofluids and new nanofluid-based devices. Inventions and developments of our colleagues were exhibited at some international expositions and were awarded Grand-Prix in Budapest for ferrofluids, FFS, and sensors. They were also awarded the special prize and silver medal at the *9th World Exhibit of Innovations in Brussels for ferrofluid-based seals for chemical reactors, and bronze medal at the International Salon of Inventions for vacuum ferrofluid-based seals, the special prize and two gold medals at the *3rd World Exhibit of Innovations in Brussels for ferrofluid and ferrofluid-based seals production technology. The innovation of the developed magnetically operated materials and various devices based on them, equipment, methods of researching and controlling their operating parameters are patented and protected with inventors certificates.
