~~Imperial Teas was founded in ***4 by a dedicated team, whose strong drive made it possible to reach the top Ten Tea Exporters in the country in a short time.  Ever since ***8 Imperial Teas has remained within the top *0 Tea Exporters of Sri Lanka ranked the 3rd largest exporter for ***3. Imperial Teas now exports to over *0 countries around the world from its modern factory complex comprising of **0,**0 sq.ft. built on free hold land, located close to the road linking the capital city of Colombo with its International Airport.

The Imperial Group's state of the art factory is ISO ****1:***4, ISO ****0(***5), HACCP, GMP, JAS and NASAA and USDA Organic certified, in addition to conforming to Japanese 5S quality systems of manufacture.  Imperial Teas have been able to achieve recognition through stringent quality control measures adopted on a continuous basis, conforming to internationally accepted and recognized quality systems of manufacture.  This has enabled Imperial Teas to be successful in marketing of company owned brands in addition to contract packing Private Label Brands belonging to reputable distributors in overseas markets.
