The latest and the greatest from Bay has hit the cinemas this July; making our summers more of an epic battle while we see Transformers: Age of Extinction in 3D cinemas and enjoy the two and a half hour ride of busts and thrusts! While the critics do their job and take a backseat to say the good and bad, we as viewers should focus more on the car paint jobs that have received a level up!

Jokes aside, the cars used in the movie have their fair share of the best in their class of dirt and mud. Sky high robots to road show kings, Transformers just saw 17 out of every 100 people throw tomato at it according to ‘rotten tomatoes critic’ group.

Coming to the main stream automobiles that have been used in the film, we know that the hero-bot, Optimus Prime is a Western Star truck customised to his original form of blue-orange-silver paint job.

The next up is Bumblebee who takes up quite a few car-formations and the very first instance while hiding behind the rocks, is the modified 1967 Chevrolet Camaro. Then the hero team Bumblebee takes up the latest concept car of 2014; again Camaro, but this time a really cool one with a yellow paint job striped on the tops with black arrows.

The Samurai Drift is one of the recent members in this hero league and is portrayed by the luscious Bugatti Grand Sport Vitesse colored full premium jet black with a sky blue baseline. Just like speed is complimented with Bugatti vehicles and automobiles, the samurai robot does the same in the movie to keep us viewers mesmerised.

Another new good guy entree is the ‘brightly’ Green Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. This happy go lucky character is voiced by John DiMaggio, and receives quite a good amount of beating from the bad guys in his very first movie. If we think of it in the real world, we would have loved to own this beauty instead of wrecking it this way upfront; pity!

Let us now analyse the bad guys, with their pro leader, Galvatron. This is a modern freightliner from Argosy, with jet black tops and pinches on silver patterns here and there. The large vehicle is distinct from its LED lighting by the way!

The bad guy series also has an Oshkosh P-19R model modelling as the Hound. Since it looks raw in its vehicle-form, the fiction world also shows it as a bad boy villain.

Neither Hero nor a direct villain from history, Lockdown is a money driven mobile acted upon by the favourites of many; the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 in matte black finish and custom front lamps for a tasty boost! Though started fresh, but in the end tries the worst to our Hero Optimus Prime; loses after a harsh battle with a cut from the Optimus' Blade.. .

One more notable bad boy is Stinger. The robot form is more like a red version of Bumblebee though the car form is a totally different scenario played with the Pagani Huayra in cherry red and black misty colour. Developers call it "the updated Bumblebee" with all of the goodies from it and deducted all the defects!

After all have finished with their showcased, there is also a Chevrolet Sonic RS model that does not receive any robotic changes in the film and is just driven once in a scene by the main character himself! So which car would you prefer from the list above, the money efficient Chevy Sonic, the updated Bumblebee Camaro Concept, or the power efficient Bugatti?
