content of organic matter, and multiple gas storage mechanisms that control fluid flow. For shale gas and oil plays, it requires 

all the shale wells to be hydraulically fractured to create accesses to the gas.

So, shale oil and gas exploitation can't do without fracturing technology application while one of the most important materials is

proppant.Proppants are used to hold the fracture open once the fracturing pressure is released in order to create a pathway for 

the transmission of hydrocarbons and maintain the porosity and the permeability needed to allow the flow of oil and gas. 

Compared with conventional proppants, ceramic proppant holds the characteristics drilling companies needed such as 

symmetrical size, stable chemical property, heat resistance and high pressure resistance,superior compatibility with sand and 

no deformation under the high pressure of deep wells.
