GENERAL HAIR CARE
Washing your Hair Extensions
Wash and condition Brazilian hair extensions reqularly. Make sure you use an approved shampoo when washing your hair extensions. Check the ingredients list and make sure it does not contain alcohol or sulphur, such as dandruff shampoo. Your stylist will give you some recommendations. 
 
Apply conditioner to the length of your hair, avoiding the root area, apply only to the mid-lengths and ends, comb through with your fingers until hair feels tangle free. Rinse thoroughly.  We recommend leaving your conditioner on for 5 minutes or longer if instructions on conditioner recommends longer. We recommend using a conditioning treatment on the mid-lengths to ends of your hair extensions once a week.
 
We recommend washing your hair in downward movements using your fingertips to wash your scalp. The same applies when rinsing the hair, this is to ensure that all shampoo and conditioner is removed. Do not rub or scrub the hair otherwise matting can occur. Do not comb or brush the hair while it is wet.
 
Drying your Hair Extensions
To best maintain the curl in your Brazilian human hair extensions allow your hair to air dry. When using a blow dryer it is best to use the cool setting. Use the cold setting on the dryer to set a blow dry style. Avoid pulling your extensions with the brush when they are warm.
 
Coloring Hair Extension
Should only be done by qualified hair dresser who is trained in dealing with human hair extensions. We recommend only colouring your human hair extensions up to 2 shades darker. Keep the color away from the attachment. DO NOT bleach your hair extensions.
 
Brushing your Hair Extensions
Brush with a loop or soft bristle hair extension brush **3 times a day, starting and the ends of your hair to remove any tangles working your way up.  We recommend that you use a loop hair extension brush, this is a brush designed for use on hair extensions with special loops to stop any damage or breakage to your hair and your hair extensions.
 
Use a wide tooth comb to remove tangles from the ends. Do not brush or comb in the area between the scalp and the tape hair extensions. Do not backcomb roots. Do not use uncovered plastic bands.
 
Sleeping
We advise you to sleep with your hair tied in a loose plait, this will minimize the chance of knots and tangles.
 
Maintenance
It is recommended that approximately every 4 weeks your hair extensions will be due for maintenance, to move them back closer to your scalp and to keep your extensions looking fresh.
