This is the root bark of the Acacia confusa tree from Hawaii. The Taiwanese have used this herb for its phenolic compounds as cancer chemo preventatives that also act as powerful antioxidants. However, there has been no clinical study to support the benefits of A. confusa as a medicine. This product is not for human consumption, and only to be used as an incense, plant dye, or for research.
