ACONDA MODULAR HIP PLATE SYSTEM

Smallcut Plate
Normalcut Plate

Aconda is an anatomic and dynamic plate for fixation of proximal femur having five modules to fix proximal femur. The system has normalcutl and smallcut (minimaly invasive) models having locking and dynamic models. The material is MRI friendly stainless steel.

Indications

Fractures of proximal femur
Combined fractures of the proximal femur and ipsilateral shaft fractures
Metastatic fracture of the proximal femur
Osteotomies of the proximal femur
Osteopenic bone
Nonunions or malunions

Contraindications

Infection of surgical region
Severe osteoporosis and a vascular necrosis
Metal sensitivity
Metastatic or malignant diseases of the surgical area
Psychological conditions that the patient cannot tolerate the postoperative care
