Product Description

The percentage and size of whole nut may vary on each consignment.
The product will be kept as uniform as possible with regard to shape.
Whole count target: *0% but this cannot be guaranteed.
HARVEST AND PROCESS:: Harvest: Almonds are a tree nut and are mechanically shaken from the
trees. They are gathered from the ground by machines for processing.
Cracking machines are used to separate the kernel from the shell.
Gravity separators remove the shells. The kernels are air dried for
approximately *4 hours at an ambient temperature.
Blanching: Temperatures above *0ºC are used to remove the skin.
Process: The almonds are inspected to remove foreign matter and
sieved. After passing over rare earth magnets the product is packed,
weighed and metal detected.
