In fact, granule sludge is a form of microbial immobilization, appearance as regular round or oval and color are black or dark gray, with high intensity and good slurry separation and good settling property, usually particle size is 0.3～3mm, even 3.5mm, Density is 1.*4～1.*8g/cm3, slightly heavier than water, with good settling performance and Methanogenic activity.
