Product Description

TheRapid test is very sensitive and only takes about *5 minutes. Test results are read visually without any instrumentation.The Rapid Test is an immunoassay for the qualitative detection of antibodies of all isotypes (IgG, IgM, IgA) specific to HIV*1 and HIV*2 simultaneously, in human serum, plasma or whole blood.The Rapid Test contains a membrane strip, which is pre-coated with recombinant HIV1 capture antigen (gp*1, p*4) and recombinant HIV2 capture antigen (gp*6) on test band, respectively. The recombinant HIV1*2 antigen (gp*1, p*4 and gp*6) – colloid gold conjugate and serum sample moves along the membrane chromatographically to the test region (T) and forms a visible line as the

antigen-antibody-antigen gold particle complex forms with high degree of sensitivity and specificity.
