Key feature:
The external fixation unit provides controllable axial alignment force to fractured humerus or radius. The adjustable hinge allows flexion and extension of arm.
The multi-cushion air braces use compressed air and functional foam providing controllable and uniform circumferential pressure on arm. The pump set is used for pumping air into the multi-cushion air braces.
 
Benefit comparing to that of traditional plaster cast:
 
Reduce risk of bone healing failure such as non-union and reduce risk of arm muscle shrinkage due to prolonged immobility of fractured limb by creating a stable uniform circumferential pressure on fractured arm.
 
Prevent stiff join and help to restore physical strength of patient arm to normal level through adjust the arm joint movement to a certain angle according to the status of rehabilitation.
 
The installation time is reduced more than half with Velcro strips and hook and buckle closure, It also can be installed by ambulance at the scene of injury.
 
The multi-cushion air brace can be replaced , the injured arm can be cleaned.
