Introduction:
BBP NO.4, also
often referred to as €œBamboo Vinegar€ is a by-product (distillate)
of the bamboo carbonization process. The main components include
organic acids, phenol compounds, alcohols and esters. It is a
yellow-brownish liquid of *1 main components with a pH of **3. The
total organic matter is about 8% with a carbon content of about
*7%.
