IR *4 parboiled rice which is a major source for carbohydrate finds widespread usage in south India, Nepal, Bangladesh, sri lanka, Senegal amoing, south Africa, benin, Nigeria among others. Following the defined agricultural guidelines and standards, we grow and process our IR*4 Parboiled Rice under the strict vigilance. This rice is soaked, steamed, dried, and then milled to remove the outer hull. This procedure gelatinizes the starch in the grain, and is adopted at the mill in order to harden the grain, resulting in less breakage, thus ensuring a firmer, more separate grain.
