Product Description
Sec-butyl acetate is one of the 4 isomers of butyl acetate,
which is an achromatic, inflammable and fruit-tasting liquid, and
soluble to a variety of resins and organic matters. Its properties
resemble other isomers under most circumstances. The biggest
difference when it is used as solvent lies in its lower boiling
point than common n-butyl acetate and isobutyl acetate, featuring
fast evaporation. The company produces a line of
environmental solvents through the addition of butylene in C4
mixture and acetic acid using self-developed technology. And this
technology has already won three state invention patents. Sec-butyl
acetate produced by our company contains no benzene, toluene
and xylene.
Application: used in the
production of high grade lacquers (e.g.: nitrocellulose lacquer,
acrylic lacquer, polyurethane lacquer), diluents, resin, curing
agent, adhesive and printing ink;
used as the extractant in the production process of fine
chemicals, especially some antibiotics. With appropriate volatility
and good transdermal permeation effect, it also can be used as the
accelerating component of drug absorption;
Composition of metal cleaner;
Used as the solvent component in the azeotropy process, and
substitute for arene and methyl isobutyl ketone partly;
Specifitation:
Market-Oriented non-VOCs solvents, boling point at **2C. No
esterification process reduces the pollution and producyion
cost.
