UP***6 BUTYL SEALANT FOR INSULATING GLASS Characteristics Butyl sealant UP***6 is the single-component, hot-melt sealant, made from the raw materials butyl rubber and polyethylene. The product possesses great sealing properties with the common insulating glass materials such as glass and aluminum; UP***6 can keep a long application life for insulating glass systems based on the low moisture penetration chance. UP***6 is a non-chemic reactive, hot-melt sealant, with no harm to human and environment. It is therefore considered as a “Green” product. Insulating glass units made of UP***6 accord with the standard GB/T*********2 of 《Insulating glass》 Main Application UP***6 is to be used as the sealant material at the Primary Sealant in manufacturing insulating glass units.
