Classification and Use of Brass Belts:
1. Strength is higher than pure copper (but it is the lowest in common brass). It has good thermal conductivity and electrical conductivity. It has high corrosion resistance in air and fresh water. It has good plasticity, easy to be processed under cold and hot pressure, easy to weld, forge and tin plating, and no tendency of stress corrosion cracking. (H*6 board, belt, tube, rod)
Usage: Used as conduit, condensation tube, radiator tube, radiator, automobile water tank belt and conductive parts in general mechanical manufacturing.

2. The performance is similar to H*6, but the strength is slightly higher than H*6. It can be coated with metal and enamel (H*0 plate, strip, bar and wire).
Uses: Water supply and drainage pipes, medals, works of art, water tank belts and bimetal sheets.

3. It has high strength, good plasticity, can withstand well, heat pressure processing, and good welding and corrosion resistance (H*5 pipe)
Uses: Condensation and heat dissipation pipes, siphons, serpentine pipes, cooling equipment manufacturing.

4. Excellent plasticity (the best brass) and high strength, good machinability, easy welding, very stable to general corrosion, but prone to corrosion cracking. The addition of trace arsenic (As) in H*8A, one of the most widely used brass varieties, can prevent the dezincification of brass and improve the corrosion resistance of brass. Usage: Complex cold punching parts and deep punching parts, such as radiator shell, duct, bellows, cartridge case, gasket, detonator, etc.

5. It also has high strength and plasticity, can well withstand cold and hot pressure processing, and has corrosion cracking tendency (H*5 plate, strip, line)
Uses: Electrical connectors, bathroom equipment, terminals, clocks and watches, lighting, etc. It is also used in musical instruments, decorative materials and military s.

6. It has good mechanical properties, good plasticity in hot state, good plasticity in cold state, good machinability, easy brazing and welding, corrosion resistance, but easy to produce corrosion cracking.
