Fluorite (also called fluorspar) is a halide mineral composed of calcium fluoride, CaF2. It is an isometric mineral with a cubic habit, though octahedral and more complex isometric forms are not uncommon. 
Crystal twinning is common and adds complexity to the observed crystal habits. 

Grade: 
Fluorspar is an industrial mineral that is composed of calcium fluoride (CaF2). 
There are three main types of commercial fluorspar concentrate: 
(1)acid grade(acidspar): Which is fine grained and contains over *7 percent fluorspar. 
(2)ceramic(ceraspar): Which is *5 to *7 percent fluorspar; 
(3)metallurgical (metspar): Which is over *0 percent fluorspar and is *0 to *0 mm in size;
