The combination of a steeper-than-average head angle and super short chainstays gives the Scalpel *9er a similar wheelbase and trail to our *6er bikes for ultra sharp, responsive handling.
5 ZERO-PIVOT SEATSTAYS
Through precise carbon lay-up, the stays are designed to flex vertically while remaining extremely stiff laterally and torsionally. This enhances suspension performance without affecting power delivery. Like the Jekyll, the alloy versions get ECS-TC double bearings in the dropout pivots in place of Zero-Pivot stays for smooth performance.
6 PRESSFIT, FULL CARBON BB*0
Oversized, press-fit BB*0 and full carbon shell guarantees zero bottom bracket flex no matter what your power output is.
