Its ionic cellulose that the appearance is white or slightly yellow flocculent fiber powder or white powder, odorless and tasteless, non-toxic; soluble in cold water or hot water to form a transparent solution that has a certain viscosity; solution is neutralor slightly alkaline, insoluble in an organic solvent such as ethanol, ethyl ether, isopropanol, acetone, but it can be dissolved in *0% ethanol or acetone solution; hygroscopicity, heat and light stability, the viscosity decreases with increasing temperature. The solution is stable range Ph2 to Ph*0, below Ph2 a solid precitated, above Ph*0 viscosity is reduced.
