Application instructions for casting tape

1.Use the protective padding or stockinet on the fixed part.

2. Wear surgical gloves.

3. Before opening the package, select the roll of proper size.

4. Immerse the cast in room temperature water (****4℃) for **6 seconds and squeeze it **3 times to complete penetration of water into the body of the roll.

5.Wrap spirally, overlapping the previous layer by one-half or two-thirds the width of the roll. Just **4 layers provide a strong non-weight-bearing cast and **6 layers are typically adequate for weight-bearing cast.

6. Smooth and rub the surface to achieve good contact between layers
